RazzMatazz is one of the most legendary clubs in Barcelona, internationally famous, an institution in this field. You will find locals and tourists alike. It is located in a building that resembles a warehouse and comprises no less than five rooms with different music and genres. Of these five areas, two are large, while three are smaller and more intimate. Each space has its own dance floor and real bars.

Pacha is a club where mainly House music is played and which has made its way among the various giants to become one of the best clubs in town.
The evenings are really well organised and good, well-known DJs are brought in. Theme parties are organised, covering different music genres: Tuesdays there is the'Bombastic', with reggaeton music, while on Wednesdays you can find the'Pop that party', with mainly hip hop music. Weekends are reserved for house music. The complex also has a restaurant, open all day from 12 noon to midnight, the time when the disco opens, a VIP area and a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the sea.

Opium hasalways been an institution in Barcelona, along with the next disco we will introduce you to, and is located a few metres away from Pacha. This club also plays mainly House music but, unlike the previous one, proper and appropriate clothing is a must, otherwise the bouncers won't let you in. It is strongly recommended to go with a ticket bought online, otherwise you risk not getting in. In summer, international DJs and artists play here. During the week you can find various theme nights, while the weekend is dedicated to House music.
Opium also consists of the restaurant part, which is open daily from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 11.30 p.m., and then the club opens at 11.45 p.m. until dawn.

Shoko, Opium and Pacha are all close together, you have to use the same means of transport to reach them, and all three overlook the sea. They are the three big landmarks for house music in the city.
The characteristics are also the same as the discos presented above: it consists of both a restaurant, open continuously from 10am to midnight, and a club part, with a VIP area as well. Appropriate clothing is required, otherwise you will be denied entry.

The CDLC, also called Carpe Diem, is also located in the Villa Olimpica district, on the same street as the previous three. This club is one of the most exclusive and elite in the whole of Barcelona, also frequented by famous and important people. While partying, you may run into rich holidaymakers and yacht owners.
Here, too, you will find a restaurant overlooking the sea, a terrace and a club area with several bars and a VIP Lounge. For some evenings, it collaborates directly with the Pache. Moreover, you will rarely find international artists and DJs here, they concentrate on local ones.

6 - La Terrazza

La Terrazza is the only open-air disco in the heart of Barcelona, open for more than 20 years. Beware of the hours though: the club is only open from May to October and only on weekends, Friday to Sunday. Times may change every year, so we recommend you always check the official website. Mostly electronic music is played here and several times the club has been named among the best electronic music venues in Spain. The Otto Zutz is a club where mainly R&B, Hip Hop and Funky music is played and is one of the few places where you can find this genre. In fact, it is frequented mainly by fans and experts of the genre and by locals. The venue is located in an old textile factory with three floors and can accommodate up to a thousand people. There are three dance floors, one on each floor, and they host several DJs at the same time. It is also a popular disco for famous people: the club boasts of having hosted celebrities such as Leonardo Di Caprio, Naomi Campbell, Jason Derulo, David Bowie and many others.

8 - Apollo Hall

Sala Apollo is another very famous disco in Barcelona. The structure of the building in which it is located is reminiscent of a theatre and it is one of the clubs with the best electronic music, played mainly on the ground floor, while pop rock reigns in the room downstairs, although during the week they range between different musical genres. On Friday and Saturday nights you will find pure electronic music, while on the other days of the week everyone is catered for: from indie-rock to new electo, from electro-pop to 80s, from reggae to rock. Every day there is an event: Nasty Mondays on Mondays, Crappy Tuesdays on Tuesdays, Canibal Sound System on Wednesdays and Cupcake on Thursdays. On Monday and Thursday evenings there is a VIP area.

This is by no means a disco like all the others and you will realise this immediately once you enter: inside you will find a giant gazebo, lots of cubes to dance on and a set design that will make you feel like you are inside a Luna Park. Moreover, the atmosphere is much more relaxed, you won't find tables and VIP areas.

The Bling Bling is a disco where mostly commercial music is played, alternating with some Latin music, while you can find a room with only house music. On Thursday nights one of the best university parties in the whole of Barcelona is held here, an event called Obsession Night.
The decor is very nice and it is mainly frequented by a chic and well-dressed clientele: you must wear a shirt, otherwise you won't be able to get in. It is ideal for those who want to party, but without ending up in a lion's night out. The average age is around 25 to 40.
